I live in Portland, Oregon, on the West Coast of the US.
This is a picture of Mary's Peak, about an hour from my house, where I like to go go hiking with my dogs.
And this is Falls Creek Falls about 90 minutes from my house. Ferris and I are at the bottom.
This is Mount Hood, one of 5 volcanoes you can see from the top of Tom, Dick, and Harry mountain.
I love talking about and teaching: astronomy, books, music, sports, science, and "the darkside of America".

I've played guitar for a very long time.
I've had 17 dogs in my lifetime...
My current dog, Ferris, is very athletic, brave, and handsome.
